Antique T Furnival & Sons Ironstone Platter, Brown Transferware Floral

A beautifully timeworn antique ironstone platter by T. Furnival & Sons in the “Charm” pattern. Dating to the late 19th century, this English platter features a lovely scalloped shape with raised handles and a delicate brown floral transferware border.

The warm discoloration, softened pattern and wonderfully aged crazing give this piece the authentic character collectors of old ironstone adore. Display it upright in a cabinet, layer it with other antique platters or use it to bring a touch of English country charm to a tabletop vignette.

MEASUREMENTS:

Approximately 10” wide x 1 1/4” high

CONDITION:

This is an antique piece with extensive crazing, age-related staining and discoloration, scattered dark specks, surface wear and fading to portions of the brown transfer pattern. These timeworn details are visible in the photographs and contribute beautifully to its authentic antique character.
